Expired submissions
Hello dear Natsume friends!
Life has been hectic lately, and in result a bunch of submissions expired before they could be approved.
I have seen a lot of gorgeous artwork I would have loved in this group, but usually was too late.
To make the more sporadic check-ins work, the expiration period has been expanded, now I should be able to approve most of them when I check in once or twice a week.
If you submitted artwork in the last few months and it expired, please submit again! We always love to see new content.
I hope you all are having a good winter, and don't forget to leave a nice comment when you see an artwork you like!

NY summer poetry!
Summer is here! And with it a new challenge.
Lots of wonderful new art has come to the group over the last few months and this group has flourished.
Let us celebrate by writing some fan poetry!
Any kind of poetry goes, be it limericks, sonnets or haikus (5-7-5 syllables). Any kind of content is possible, as long as it is related to Natsume Yuujinchou, sad or silly.
To get things going, here is a really silly Nyanko haiku for you:
Left paw and right paw
on the sandy way to home
Is dinner ready?
(Nyanko-Sensei is good at many things, but poetry is not among them.)

Submissions and favourites READ BEFORE SUBMITTING!
Hello everyone!
It has come to my attention that a few watchers of this group like to submit their own works as Favourites to the group, instead of joining and submitting normally. While I can understand not wanting to join a group for each and every fandom you have ever drawn for, this has serious drawbacks for both the artists and us, the mods.
1) The Favourites folder is for suggesting art that you can't submit yourself, aka your favourites by other artists
2) The Favourites folder is a jumbled mix, while the normal submission folders are sorted by subject and medium, so it is much harder to find stuff there.

Our Featured folder was getting a little stale and there were so many great new submissions to the group in the last half year, I decided to switch out content a little.
I picked two or three submissions from every folder, that have been submitted since summer.
Don't worry if your artwork wasn't picked, it doesn't mean it was not good, I just tried to give an overview over what kind of artwork was submitted in that time frame.
Even though the anime is not running anymore, I'm astounded by the count and quality of submissions.
Good work, everyone! Let's keep the Natsume love alive from now on, too!
